Winter Yoga Immersion

REMEMBERING WHAT MATTERS

Yoga, breath, Hindu storytelling & sharing to enter the new year with depth and presence

There is a quiet beauty in beginning the year slowly, in a calm and welcoming space where nothing is asked of us except to arrive.

In this winter immersion, we gather to share an ancient story from the Hindu tradition — a reminder that long before books, screens, and short-form content, humans learned, grew, and connected through stories. Stories were our first teachers, our mirrors, and our way of remembering what matters.

In a world where much of what we consume lasts only a few seconds, choosing to sit together, listen deeply, and take time becomes a quiet luxury.
A chance to slow down, to be present, and to experience an authentic moment of sharing and connection — without rushing, without distraction, without needing to become anything other than ourselves.

At the beginning of the year, we are often invited to decide, plan, and improve.

This immersion offers something different.

A winter pause.
A space to slow down, listen honestly, and return to what is essential—before the year gathers speed.

This is not a goal-setting session.
It’s a guided experience of remembering what matters.

What we’ll explore

Inspired by a timeless story from the Hindu tradition—the tale of Narada and Krishna—we’ll explore:

  • attention and distraction (in a gentle, human way)

  • humility as strength

  • what it means to live with intention without needing everything to be clear

  • remembering as a practice (not a performance)

You don’t need prior knowledge of the story or tradition—only a willingness to arrive as you are.

What to expect

This 3-hour immersion weaves together:

  • Yoga asana practice (grounded, accessible, not performance-based)

  • Gentle pranayama (winter-appropriate breath practices)

  • Hindu storytelling

  • Guided journaling (to listen more deeply)

  • Sharing circle

  • Quiet integration (rest, stillness, and a closing ritual)
