ABOUT ME

About me...

My name is Elisa Dolci, I'm Italian but most importantly European.

I moved to Luxembourg in 2016 for love, which I believe is the most beautiful energy that moves human beings around.

My husband and I have two incredible little girls, Camilla and Olivia. We cannot still believe how we could create these two beautiful humans that share our genes.

Few years ago our family came to live in Senningen, a delightful little village full of mills and hills.

I work part-time in one of the most important NGOs in the country, ADA, which promotes inclusive finance in poor countries.

I am deeply grateful for each one of this thing!

...and my yoga journey

I started practicing yoga in 2013. At that time I used to live in Turin, a beautiful city in the north of Italy where I moved to live with my love.

Before I thought yoga was not for me even if a part of me was always curious to discover what it could offer me. The only reason I started was that the pilates studio where I used to go closed. Or maybe as they say "When the student is ready, the teacher appears". Probably I was ready for this new adventure and I decided to try the yoga courses in an Ashtanga yoga studio not far away from my home. Since there I never stop exploring this ancient philosophy and practice.

Life went on, Camilla our first daughter arrived in our life and we moved to Luxembourg. A few years later, when I was expecting our second daughter Olivia, I decided that it was the perfect time to become a yoga teacher, and so I did.

Today through my teaching, my students and my kula (my yoga community)  I am learning, experiencing new ways of living my yoga, and growing not only as a teacher but most importantly as a human being.

Thank you all for nourishing my journey!

Why Yoga?

Yoga is my little secret to feel good, physically, mentally, and emotionally every day.

It teaches me to be fully here, to be aware that I can choose in any moment how I want to respond and not to react to Life.

Every day I am learning to observe myself and my feelings when my mind runs between work, family, emails, calls... Yoga offered me the tools to create some space and some silence within

Yoga teaches me that perfection exists just in our mind, but that in every moment we can try to show the world the best side of us.

Yoga is an empowering opportunity, always available to us.

I am delighted to share with you what I learned and keep learning. This is the reason behind the creation of YogaNest: a welcoming, simple, and safe space for your Yoga time.

Looking forward to having you here!
